This work is an exploration of paper.
A metaphor for experience and the beauty of being
I am fascinated by paper
it's fragility - strength - responsiveness
subtle texture
the unique quality of each sheet
it's impermanent nature
Each piece is
a map - a corridor
a tangible expression of my
subtle
exquisite
fugitive
transient experience.

Through the means of symbol, color, mark, and gesture my  work explores

raw emotion
intimacy
brutal honesty

the viscera of a soul
evolving

For 30 years, my drive to create, communicate, and seek exchange has deeply informed my work. I have participated in national group and solo shows  and my work  is represented in collections throughout the US.
